A multinational technology company is looking for a Field Service Technician to support wind turbine maintenance across Spain. This role requires strong electrical engineering skills, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure. Candidates should have proficiency in MS Office, PLC, and a valid English level B1. Travel within Spain and abroad is expected, and a willingness to work weekends may be necessary.

Formación

  • Professional training in the electrical engineering sector required.

Responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently in implementing identified and analyzed errors and repair/maintenance of onshore wind turbines, primarily with ECO and GE technology, across the Spanish geography and foreign travel when required, including customer incident resolution.
  • Comply with applicable EHS procedures and regulations regarding fieldwork performance.
  • Immediately report EHS events and concerns to the park manager or Hub Manager and have the authority to stop work in case of detecting a risk or unsafe situation.
  • Attend periodic EHS calls, either daily and/or weekly.
  • Properly segregate waste generated at the installation.
  • Planned and corrective maintenance of wind turbines (GE and Eco technologies).
  • Document call responses, error analysis, and repair tasks in service reports, logbooks, and checklists.
  • External and internal coordination with service providers and subcontractors at wind farms.
  • Technical contact person for customer inquiries, updates, and repairs.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Professional training in the electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics, or mechatronic engineer).
  • Familiarity with the MSOffice operating system and PLC.
  • High degree of quality awareness, excellent diagnostic and error detection skills, and the ability to detect and solve errors, defects, and problems.
  • Cooperative team player with a high level of technical development interest and a secure personality.
  • Ability to work at heights and high physical fitness level.
  • Ability to interpret or manage proprietary software.
  • Structured person with technical analytical capacity.
  • High flexibility, high motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Availability to travel across Spain and abroad.
  • Willingness to work weekends.
  • English level B1.
