A specialized technical service provider is looking for a Field Service Technician based in Spain, ideally Madrid, with remote work options. The role involves on-site inspections, installation, troubleshooting of gear systems, and international travel. Required qualifications include fluency in Spanish and English, technical expertise, and field experience in the cement or mining industries.

Formación

Responsabilidades

Location : Based in Spain (ideally Madrid – remote work possible) | International travel required

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to independently perform on-site inspections of gear systems used in the cement and mining industries in Spain. This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and international field service work.

Your Responsibilities as Field Service Technician (Spain):

1. Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of industrial gearboxes, couplings, and lubrication systems.
2. Conduct on-site supervision and technical inspections of gear systems, including competitor equipment.
3. Support aftermarket services, including parts replacement, upgrades, and retrofits.
4. Prepare detailed technical service reports.
5. Provide customer training on equipment use and maintenance.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer policies, and export control standards.

Qualifications:

1. Fluent in Spanish and English.
2. Proven field experience in the cement, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
3. Strong technical knowledge of gear systems, couplings, and drive solutions (training provided).
4. Willingness to travel internationally frequently (Europe, Latin America, and beyond).
5. Structured and safety-conscious approach to field service and inspections.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience working with OEMs or maintenance contractors.
2. Understanding of predictive maintenance techniques and lubrication systems.
3. Strong reporting and communication skills.
