HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. is seeking a Service Engineer to join the Spain team, delivering installation, commissioning and service activities for High Voltage equipment at customer sites.

You will ensure safety, reliability and on-time execution, contributing to asset performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires a technical diploma and 3+ years in HV or mechanical field service, with Spanish fluency and travel up to 80% within Spain.

Formación

• Technical diploma in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in high voltage, electrical or mechanical field service.
• Proven experience in installation and commissioning of HV equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Good command of Spanish; English is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within Spain (>80%).

Responsabilidades

• Execute installation and commissioning activities for High Voltage equipment at customer sites.
• Perform service activities including maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits and replacements.
• Identify, analyze and troubleshoot technical issues on-site or remotely.
• Ensure all work is executed in compliance with Hitachi Energy HSE standards.
• Prepare, coordinate and verify availability and quality of tools, materials and equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of service activities.
• Build strong relationships with customers and understand their operational needs.
• Propose technical solutions and upgrades to improve system reliability and performance.

In this role, you will join the Service organization in Spain, working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver high‑quality Installation & Commissioning and Service activities for High Voltage equipment.
