A leading renewable energy company is seeking a maintenance technician for wind turbine systems in Spain. This role involves diagnosing and repairing generator systems, documenting service efforts, and ensuring compliance with environmental safety standards. Candidates should have electrical engineering training and be prepared for occasional travel and weekend work.

Formación

  • Professional training in electrical engineering (electrician, mechatronic engineer).
  • B2 English level required.
  • Class B driving license and valid work permit.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform planned and preventive maintenance on wind turbine generator systems.
  • Documentation of fault finding and repairs.
  • Coordination with external and internal service providers.

Descripción del empleo

All resources and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site / property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair, and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering.

  • Ability to work independently on the implementation of fault analyses and repair of wind turbine generator systems, GE and ECO technologies, in Spain and abroad when needed, including clarification of any client queries.
  • Planned and preventive maintenance of wind turbine generator systems, GE and ECO technologies.
  • Documentation of call-out responses, fault finding, and repair work in service reports, logbooks, and checklists.
  • Coordination of external and internal service providers and contractors on site.

Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Professional training in the electrical engineering sector (electrician, power electronics system, mechatronic engineer).
  • Outstanding commitment to Environment, Health, and Safety rules and behaviors.
  • B2 English level or higher.
  • Familiar with MS-Office operating system.
  • Familiar with PLCs.
  • High degree of quality awareness; excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills combined with the ability to detect and remedy faults, defects, and problems.
  • Team player, cooperative, interested in further development.
  • Able to work at heights and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
  • Structured worker with technical analytical abilities.
  • High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Prepared to travel throughout Spain and abroad.
  • Willing to work sometimes also at the weekends.
  • Class B driving license.
  • Valid Work Permit for the country where the position is offered.

Desired Characteristics :

  • Electrical / mechanical service or maintenance experience will be an additional advantage.
