Sécheron Hasler Group is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Getafe (Madrid) to deliver on-site electrical services for customers worldwide. You will supervise installation, testing, commissioning and training, perform emergency site interventions and repairs, and generate technical reports.

The role requires an associate degree in electrical or electromechanical fields, fluency in English and Spanish, and willingness to travel up to 75%. Autonomy and teamwork skills are essential.

• Technician/Associate degree in electrical or electromechanical field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Experience with electrical substations and DC traction is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure efficient field services to customers worldwide.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and training onsite.
• Execute emergency site interventions and repairs.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Support Sales on substation surveys and site access.
• Prepare quotations for repairs.
• Identify opportunities for spare parts, on-site services, modernization, retrofits, and maintenance contracts.
• Manage stock of spare parts and tools; travel up to 75%.

Requirements

Field Service Technician based in Getafe (Madrid), with main functions including:

Customer Service:

• Ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide.
• Providing the field activities when requested: supervision of installation, testing, commissioning and training's.
• Execute the emergency site interventions.
• Making repairs at site or at Sécheron's facilities.
• Execute the audits and maintenance jobs.
• Elaboration of technical reports.

Support To Sales And Contract Execution:

• Support to Sales Engineer on substation surveys and permissions to site access
• Make repairing quotations.
• Being attentive to identify new business opportunities: sale of spare-parts, repairs, on-site services, modernization's, retrofits, training's and maintenance contracts.

Logistics And Stock:

• Support on the management of stock of spare parts and tools.
• Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Requirements

• Technician/ Associate degree in electrical or electromechanical (ciclo formative grado superior).
• Electrical hazards and safety training; Maintenance; Protections and control of electrical equipment.
• Experience on installation, testing and commissioning of electrical equipment. Ideally with experience on maintenance and experience on DC traction substations.
• English and Spanish fluency.
• Any other language are a plus.
• Active, dynamic, good organisation of tasks and planning skills. Be willing to travel worldwide up to 75%.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Experience in the Installation, Commissioning and/or Maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Electrical substations and/or DC traction substations experience is a plus.
