Formación

• Proven field experience in cement, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of gear systems.
• Conduct on-site supervision and technical inspections including competitor equipment.
• Prepare detailed technical service reports.

Based in Spain (ideally Madrid, remote work possible) | International travel required

We are looking for a

Field Service Technician

to independently carry out

on-site inspections of gear systems

used in the

cement and mining industries. This is a dynamic role combining technical expertise, customer engagement, and international field service work.

Your Role

• Perform installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of industrial gearboxes, couplings, and lubrication systems
• Conduct on-site supervision and technical inspections of gear systems – including competitor equipment
• Support with aftermarket services, including parts replacement, upgrades, and retrofits
• Prepare detailed technical service reports
• Deliver customer training on equipment use and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, customer policies, and export control standards

What You Bring

• Professional fluency in Spanish and English
• Proven field experience in the cement, mining, or heavy industrial sectors
• Strong technical knowledge of gear systems, couplings, and drive solutions (training provided at the beginning of employment)
• Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis (Europe, Latin America, and beyond)
• Structured and safety-conscious approach to field service and inspections

Nice to Have

• Experience working with OEMs or maintenance contractors in the field
• Understanding of lubrication systems
• Strong reporting and communication skills
