A leading company in power solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer UPS to join their Barcelona team. The role involves responding to service calls, ensuring compliance with procedures, and maintaining customer relationships, requiring both technical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.

Formación

  • Experience in technical service area, particularly in UPS equipment.
  • Valid Driving License and availability for weekend work.
  • Ability for occasional heavy lifting (up to 30 kg).

We are currently seeking aField Service Engineer UPSto join our dynamic team inBarcelona, Spain!

What responsibilities will you have?

  • Respond, in a professional manner, to all assigned service calls while on duty;
  • Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual;
  • Perform all work in a safe manner, and in accordance with established company safety policy;
  • Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures;
  • Keep Dispatching Team informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs;
  • Maintain the accuracy of the customer listing by reporting errors;
  • Submit weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate and complete manner and in case of Wireless Field Service debrief the performed job in a complete and accurate manner at the Customer’s premises;
  • Keep company vehicle clean, neat and properly maintained;
  • Report and promotes sales or service leads to the proper department;
  • Attend customer meetings as required;
  • Being a reference point for key customers in case of emergency and troubleshooting;
  • Ensure availability to work during week-end and night in compliance with local labor laws;
  • Work closely with department supervisor to assist with day to day operational duties.

What are the keys to your success?

  • Secondary school diploma or University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Basic Level in English;
  • Experience in technical service area working in a service or test environment of UPS equipment;
  • Computer Literate Valid Driving License, travel availability, weekend availability (frequently scheduled with little notice) Occasional heavy lifting required (30 kg);
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Self-starter, ability to effective plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
