GE HealthCare Spain is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to maintain imaging and electromedicine equipment. You will troubleshoot complex systems, communicate status to customers and managers, and support account teams with service and growth opportunities across Catalonia.

The role demands strong technical problem-solving, organized work planning, and excellent English communication. Relocation and language training may be considered for suitable candidates.

Formación

• Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Eng Tech, or proven Field Service Engineer experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electromedicine or imaging equipment.
• Systematic, thorough approach to problem solving.
• Ability to plan and organize work with minimal direction.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; capable of influencing others.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain modality-specific models in the assigned area.
• Perform total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Communicate equipment status to end-users and managers; maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in Account Sales visits and identify opportunities for the account team.
• Support growth and direction of the business in the geographic region.
• Control warranty and PMS contract costs; ensure timely administration and documentation.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain all models specific to a modality in the assigned area.
• Perform total system level trouble-shooting on complex multi-symptom problems.
• Communicate clearly with end-users and department managers on equipment status; maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in Account Sales visits, help train others where necessary, and identify Sales opportunities and communicate them to account team.
• Assist in the growth and direction of business in geographic area.
• Responsible for Warranty and PMS contract cost control.
• Responsibly complete all administration tasks on time (e.g., ensure timely completion of FMI's and PMS inspections documentation for assigned accounts).
• Play a leading role in complex and multifunctional rooms.
• Share best practices.
• Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.

Required Qualifications

• A diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electromechanics or Biomedical Engineering Technology, or solid experience as Field Service Engineer
• Experience in electromedicine or imaging (healthcare sector).
• Good technical skills with a systematic and thorough approach to problem solving
• The ability to plan and organize your work own effectively, and to work with minimal direction
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and customer service skills - you can deal with differences of opinion tactfully and effectively, and you influence rather than direct
• Good knowledge of English language to properly play the information, successfully attend training courses and allow fluent communication in this language
