Formación

• Calificaciones en Ingeniería Eléctrica y experiencia en sistemas de baja y media tensión.
• Experiencia en técnicas de medición y trabajo con equipos de medición.

Your Position Within the Company

The Field Service Engineer E/M is a member of the Service team and reports to the Manager Field Service & Planning EMEA.

Job Objective

To carry out corrective and preventive maintenance worldwide, to commission and trouble-shoot Hitec products and third-party installations. Your main duties involve electrical engineering work on both low and medium voltage installations.

Key Result Areas

Responsibilities, Duties and Authority

1. You are responsible for independently preparing and carrying out work as part of the service and offering after-sales care in accordance with the procedures, guidelines and (international) standards and instructions in Spain and abroad, under local conditions.
2. You provide technical support to customers.
3. You independently train operators for end customers.
4. You do basic mechanical engineering work where necessary.
5. You coordinate and act as a supervisor during the local installation stage prior to the commissioning of a product.
6. You can call in the Help Desk if a technical problem arises and the Manager Field Service & Planning if organisational problems arise.
7. You are familiar with, and make allowances for, local conditions.

Communication

1. You act as a supervisor, you have the authority to guide customers and engineers with respect to commissioning products and service orders involving electrical work.
2. You discuss technical problems and solutions with customers.
3. You train operators and hold workshops with them.
4. You instruct the local staff.
5. You proactively discuss the progress and quality of the work with the Manager Field Service & Planning.

Requirements

Education

1. Qualifications in Electrical Engineering from Pre-vocational Secondary Education with an affinity for mechanical engineering.
2. Secondary education-level professional and intellectual capacity.
3. Relevant safety certificates.

Required Knowledge and Experience

1. You have an affinity for electrical engineering, the basic principles of electronics, low and medium voltage systems.
2. You have ample experience with measuring techniques and working with measuring equipment.
3. You can speak, read and write Spanish and English.
4. You have teaching experience and skills and can hold workshops.
5. You have experience with working with PLC and processor-guided components and diagnostic software.
6. You can work with MS Office.
