Formación

Descripción del empleo

The Field Service Engineer for DR and CR equipment performs technical service and support on Agfa and third-party products and systems for customers. This position involves providing technical support for Agfa NV imaging products. The employee will be based from home and will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT / electrical equipment.

Main responsibilities :

• Install and modify Agfa and third-party products (DR and CR).
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace Agfa and third-party products on-site and remotely.
• Assist R&D and HQ in problem solving and risk analysis.
• Train customers.
• Escalate problems to 2nd and 3rd tier support when necessary.
• Manage and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Agfa products according to procedures.
• Assist internal and external customers on technical questions and issues both on-site and remotely.
• Identify opportunities for up-selling Agfa services and products and pass on these opportunities to sales.
• Manage return of equipment and parts in compliance with company procedures.

Education :

• University degree in Engineering, Electronics, Biomedical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• X-Ray operator license is a plus.

Experience :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in installing and maintaining medical devices or healthcare products, especially X-ray / DR systems, with the ability to service mechanical and electrical devices and cooperating computer software.
• Experience with networking and remote diagnosis software systems.
• Experience working safely with electromechanical systems.
• Project management skills are a plus.

Specific Skills :

• Languages : Spanish (native), English (B2 or higher), Valencian / Catalan desirable.
• Proactivity, flexibility, independence, initiative, and adaptability.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to fault-find basic electronics.
• Knowledge of X-Ray / DR systems and Windows 7 / 10.
• Full driving license with willingness to travel within the country and occasionally to other European countries.
