Emerson seeks a Field Sales Engineer for Isolation Valves in Iberia to build strong customer relationships and deliver value through technical solutions. You will partner with customers to understand operations, develop account plans, identify opportunities, and coordinate across teams to drive growth.

The role requires proven industrial sales experience, strategic thinking, and leadership, with fluency in English and the ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or application engineering within an industrial or technical environment.
• Solid understanding of valve industry products and applications.
• Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking and leadership.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong personal drive, resilience, and passion for achieving results.
• Strong command of the English language, with ability to prepare and deliver effective presentations.
• Ability to travel up to 60% for customer visits across the region.

Job Description

Are you a sales professional passionate about building strong customer relationships and delivering technical solutions that create real value?

As Field Sales Engineer, for Isolation Valves in Iberia, you will partner with customers to understand their operational challenges and help identify solutions that support their goals. You will play a key role in business growth by developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating across teams to deliver value-driven outcomes.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Account Management and Customer Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with account stakeholders, acting as trusted advisor and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute account plans to identify potential customers, product white spaces, and green- or brown-fields projects.
• Needs assessments and solution presentation:
  • Conduct needs assessments in collaboration with BDMs to identify customers needs, challenges and opportunities, understand customer business drivers and priorities, to design and present a tailored solution that addresses their requirements and delivers business value.
• Identification and pursuit opportunities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts, focusing on maximizing the potential of our product, including filling whitespace and new demand generation.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with BDMs, support team and specialists to deliver high-quality customer engagement and develop effective solutions.
  • Coordinate internal resources for complex or long lead pursuit and facilitate access to key decision makers within customers organization.
• Market insight:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, markets developments, and competitors’ activities to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market demands.
