We work in global supply chains impacting millions of people and places around the world to make the products we buy. We work on the ground, in forests, fields and factories, helping companies, farmers and communities find practical solutions together. And we know that, ultimately, trust and positive changes comes from people getting to work together, hands in the soil.

Your Role

As Field Project Manager, engaged via local employment partner, you will play a central role in transitioning agricultural systems toward regenerative practices. Working closely with farmers, cooperatives, and agro-industry stakeholders, you will design and implement field programs that build soil health, restore biodiversity, and improve farmer livelihoods. Your main responsibilities will be :

  • Follow up on initial diagnostics with selected farmers
  • Adapt agronomic recommendations and indicators to regional contexts
  • Develop and monitor project roadmaps, KPIs, training plans, and scale-up strategies
  • Manage the field agronomy team and ensure quality, timely, and budget-compliant delivery
  • Coordinate with agricultural cooperatives / traders and support their strategic development
  • Assist in the design of data collection (MRV) tools and regenerative agriculture performance frameworks
  • Support training program development for farmers and advisors

Technical Expertise :

  • Build partnerships with technical and scientific institutions
  • Co-develop collaboration agreements with partners
  • Develop and adapt required training material and if necessary, deliver "train-the-trainer" sessions
  • Provide agronomic advice on key topics (e.g. cover crops, soil carbon, climate linkages)
  • Translate complex agronomic knowledge for non-expert audiences (e.g. agri-food companies)
  • Analyze data and consolidate insights for project reporting
  • Propose and coordinate field communication content with comms lead to highlight concrete actions of Earthworm
  • Represent Earthworm Foundation at conferences, workshops, and partner event
  • Your Profile

You are passionate about solving real-world challenges and bringing science-based, practical solutions to agricultural systems. With strong knowledge of agronomy in Spain, including soil fertility, conservation agriculture, biodiversity, and nutrient cycles, you bring both technical expertise and hands-on experience to the field. Your experience working with businesses in agriculture, forestry or manufacturing, and understand supply chain dynamics, sustainability standards, and stakeholder expectations will be a great asset to be successful in the role too.

A natural communicator, you thrive in cross-cultural, multi-stakeholder environments and enjoy building trust with farmers, companies, and technical partners. You’re a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, able to coordinate multiple actors, structure actions effectively, and drive results. You combine creativity and pedagogy, adapting your message to suit different audiences, from farmers to corporate partners. Collaborative, empathetic, and positive thinker, you’re also autonomous, proactive, and driven by impact for both people and planet.
