Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines, enabling AI-powered insights across manufacturing and supply. You will work in cross-functional pods, delivering scalable data solutions while ensuring governance and security standards.

A focus on Spark/Scala, Python and SQL with cloud and orchestration tools is essential. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts and product teams, contribute to best practices, and mentor peers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data engineering, integration, data warehousing or BI experience in cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with Spark/Scala, Python, SQL and data modeling; cloud platforms, ETL and QA practices.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake a plus) and orchestration (Airflow a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Propose and establish technical designs that meet business and technical requirements.
• Build, optimize and maintain data and ETL pipelines, tested and production-ready.
• Gather and organize large data assets and analyze them to unlock business value.
• Partner with business/product teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Promote best practices in code management, testing, CI/CD and deployments.
• Coach fellow data engineers and conduct peer reviews for quality and rigor.
