Job summary

Sanofi seeks an experienced Data Engineering Specialist to design and operate data pipelines for AI/ML initiatives. You will own backend systems, optimize Snowflake queries, and lead CI/CD for robust data apps. Strong Python, PySpark, Snowpark, and AWS skills are essential.

You will mentor teammates, collaborate across data platforms, and ensure scalable, high-performance data services supporting R&D, manufacturing, and commercial analytics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend, data pipelines, and infra experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering or similar.
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, Snowpark.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical designs meeting Sanofi requirements with architectural standards.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Own backend of the application including design, implementation, tests, and CI/CD.
• Fine-tune queries on Snowflake and optimize ETL/data pipelines.
• Assess and resolve data pipeline issues to ensure timely execution.
• Develop and manage microservices using Python.
• Design architecture for efficient concurrent usage and performance.
• Promote best practices for code management, testing, and deployments.
• Own all areas of the product lifecycle.
