Job summary

Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Application Engineer to deliver post-sale support for GeneXpert systems across the North of Spain Territory. The role requires extensive travel and remote work to ensure high uptime and adoption in clinical laboratories.

You will install, configure, and optimize instruments, train customers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Biology.
• 2-3 years’ experience in health care / biomedical / Medical Devices.
• Fluent in the local language; strong command of English; Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-install site assessments, install Cepheid instruments, configure software and connectivity, and provide ongoing post-sale support.
• Monitor sites and deliver training on system operation, reagents, and connectivity.
• Carry out repairs, preventive maintenance, deinstallations, relocations; manage spare parts and liaise with customers on technical matters.
