Descripción del empleo

We are currently looking for a skilled & customer-focused Application Engineer to support our Direct-to-Garment and Direct-to-Fabric product lines. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert, collaborating with customers, internal teams, and partners to ensure the successful implementation, optimization, and support of our digital printing solutions across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers regarding both systems & applications.
  • Provide expert guidance on system applications, workflows, and best practices.
  • Deliver remote and on-site support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and digital printing workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to address complex challenges.
  • Deliver comprehensive training to end-users on system operation, maintenance, and optimization.
  • Lead the deployment of printing solutions, including installation, calibration, and workflow integration.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Analyze customer production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.

What will you have?

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, Printing Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital printing, print production, or a related technical field.
  • Understanding of digital prepress workflows and file preparation.
  • Some knowledge of colour science, spectrophotometry, and calibration tools (e.g., X-Rite).
  • Experience with RIP software such as ColorGate, Caldera, and Inedit would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Knowledge of textile substrates and finishing processes would be desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently around Europe (80% minimum).
  • Good English language skills (written and verbal). Other languages would be desirable.
