Future Electronics is looking for a Generalist Field Application Engineer to join their Advanced Engineering team in Valencia. You will provide applications and design solutions utilizing your design experience and knowledge.

The role involves working with original equipment manufacturers across multiple sectors, including automotive and medical, and requires excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. A Degree in Electronics Engineering and a minimum of five years experience is expected.

Field Application Engineer

Future Electronics is looking for a Generalist Field Application Engineer to join their Advanced Engineering team in Valencia.

Role Overview

As a Field Application Engineer (FAE) you will expose and train on the portfolio of semiconductor manufacturers that offer cutting‑edge technology solutions. You will work with and recommend engineering solutions to original equipment manufacturers across market segments including automotive, industrial, military, commercial, medical, solid‑state lighting and many others. You will be mentored by Advanced Engineers, Engineering Managers, and suppliers.

The prime responsibility is to provide applications and design solutions to the company’s customer base, utilising prior design and product knowledge gained through education, experience and training seminars held by the manufacturers for which the company is a franchise.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
• Degree in Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of five years design experience either in the field or with an electronics company
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Proactive and results‑driven approach
