AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, ensuring our customers have continual access to innovation. You will join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other roles. We are expanding our technician teams within the EMEA regions with openings for Installation Technicians. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work in some of the most innovative data centers globally. The Infrastructure Delivery team handles scaling and deploying new data center infrastructure, primarily installing cabling and racks. The role requires performing repetitive tasks, following standard procedures, and effective team communication.

Key job responsibilities

1. Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
2. Install and test copper and fiber optic cabling.
3. Build and troubleshoot network devices.
4. Create and attach labels and barcodes.
5. Manage inventory of related materials.
6. Follow escalation processes and standard operating procedures.

Physical Requirements

1. This position involves physical tasks, including working in cramped spaces or at heights.
2. Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits per regulations).
3. Work often occurs at heights and from ladders.
4. Work in noisy environments with temperature variations.
