This role will be responsible for building a portfolio of raw material suppliers for biofuel production, focusing on new seeds and waste products. The team will also source innovative raw materials for low-carbon fuel processes, making short-term acquisitions and establishing long-term partnerships with feedstock providers to meet Repsol's needs.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Build a feedstocks business.
  2. Manage risks related to feedstocks in the Bunge Repsol JV.
  3. Explore and develop opportunities for raw material supply, focusing on sustainable, low-carbon options for pretreatment and fuel production.
  4. Support development of optimized supply opportunities, working with technology teams to enhance asset and raw material interfaces.
  5. Develop supply logistics chains for raw materials.
  6. Collaborate with Repsol and Bunge to understand regulations and develop supply strategies.
  7. Optimize the portfolio of oils and feedstocks to maximize margins across the value chain.
  8. Maintain a low-carbon fuel strategy aligned with raw material values and business lines.
  9. Ensure compliance with Bunge Iberica principles and foster a compliance culture.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Engineering, Sciences, or Business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in biofuel feedstocks.
  • Experience in structuring purchase contracts and risk management.
  • Supply chain development or optimization experience is desirable.
  • Understanding of the low-carbon fuel value chain, including technical, commercial, and economic aspects.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Strong market knowledge and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills in multicultural environments.
  • Resilient, entrepreneurial attitude, capable of leading teams without formal authority.
  • Languages: Spanish and English required; additional languages valued.
