We are looking for a Customs Coordinator to join our Operations team. Reporting to the Head of Transport, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and compliant flow of goods across international borders by managing all customs-related activities.

What will be your challenge?

1. Customs documentation and processes: Manage all required customs clearance documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring full compliance with local and international customs regulations, including tariff classifications, valuation, and duty calculations.
2. Continuous improvement & updating of customs processes: Regularly review and refine customs procedures to enhance efficiency. Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations, tax laws, and other relevant rules, ensuring that internal processes are updated to align with the latest requirements.
3. Analyze performance and optimize customs procedures: Evaluate customs clearance data and performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop strategies to strengthen the company’s overall customs clearance operations.
4. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of all customs clearance activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and facilitating audits.
5. Collaborate with customs authorities and stakeholders: Work closely with customs authorities, agents, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and ensure timely clearance of goods.
6. Monitor and enhance operational performance: Evaluate courier performance, recommend improvements, and monitor KPIs to optimize service levels.

What will make you succeed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in customs processes (import, export, classification).
• Official title of customs representative is desirable.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Strong skills in office package and data analysis.
• Ability to interpret legal regulations and standards.
• Proactive, independent, and focused on continuous improvement.
