Job summary

JC Brand Esp Market SL in Madrid is seeking a Fabric Development expert to define seasonal fabric directions and source innovative, sustainable qualities that meet performance standards.

You will manage fabric mills and nominations, negotiate prices and lead times, and collaborate with Design, Buying, and Sourcing to build a robust fabric library that supports cross-season opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree or vocational training in Textile Management, Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or related discipline.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to negotiate prices, MOQs, and supplier terms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and source fabrics, defining seasonal directions and sustainable qualities meeting performance standards.
• Manage fabric mills and nominations, liaising with Design and Buying teams.
• Negotiate costs, MOQs and lead times to optimize costs without compromising design or quality.
• Bridge collaboration between Design, Buying and Sourcing as the internal fabric expert.
• Establish and maintain a core fabric library for cross-season opportunities.
