Omega CRM Consulting is seeking an Omnichannel Automation Specialist to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company.
Service Overview
The Omnichannel Automation Specialist (OAS) supports the Campaign Automation team and the Next Best Action (NBA) Centre of Excellence. The role involves managing the entire lifecycle of omnichannel automated campaigns for marketing, medical, and market access teams worldwide. The OAS translates business rules into configurations within marketing automation tools, ensuring campaigns meet stakeholder expectations and follow best practices. The role also involves driving innovation, process optimization, and knowledge sharing across the organization, working with global stakeholders (GCOs, IT) and regional teams.
Responsibilities
- Gather, understand, and document campaign requirements from market stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business rules and expectations.
- Translate campaign business rules into configurations and workflows within NBA-related marketing tools, ensuring data attributes are available and actionable.
- Use business data insights to inform campaign design, segmentation, personalization, and KPIs aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Stewards, and Business Analysts to secure necessary data for configuration and reporting.
- Interpret campaign performance data to generate insights and influence future planning.
- Conduct quality checks, simulations, user acceptance, and system integration tests to ensure proper campaign functionality.
- Implement corrections or optimizations and provide feedback with best practices and recommendations.
- Define, document, and optimize automation processes, maintaining up-to-date documentation.
- Ensure the availability and optimal use of automation tools, collaborating with IT and vendors to enhance functionality.
- Provide regular updates on campaign progress, address impediments, and promote best practice adoption across teams.
Requirements & Skills
- Relevant degree in Marketing, IT, Pharma, or related fields preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in campaign automation and omnichannel marketing roles, working on complex triggered campaigns and workflows.
- Experience working with data in business environments.
- Proficiency with marketing automation tools like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Unica, or similar NBA systems.
- Knowledge of Veeva CRM/Veeva Vault is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and SQL proficiency (2+ years required).
- Knowledge of AWS querying is a plus.
- Experience in QA testing, troubleshooting, and campaign optimization.
- Strong communication skills for technical and business concepts.
- Proactive in issue resolution and balancing multiple priorities.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA, BitBucket) is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
