Puig in Barcelona seeks an experienced Logistics Specialist to manage international traffic operations and ensure shipment documents are accurate for warehouse fulfillment.

You will coordinate with warehouses, carriers and authorities, review and modify shipping papers, and handle incidents to protect service levels. English required, French desirable.

Formación

• Experience: minimum 2 years in a similar job (import / export flows).
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Transport or similar.
• Languages: English Advanced; French Medium-Advanced (desirable).
• Specific Knowledge: Logistics processes and Export Traffic.

Responsabilidades

• Review and send documents for shipment fulfillment at the warehouse.
• Print original documentation from logistics operators as needed for traffic.
• Modify documentation according to client, carrier and airline requirements.
• Control and track attached and original documents (POD, transports).
• Coordinate merchandise inspections between the warehouse and Official Organizations.
• Manage international traffic incidents across departments and close them.
• Handle procedures and documentation related to insurance incidents and returns.
• Plan traffic bookings with the logistics operator.
• Follow up and search alternatives to traffic ahead to maintain service level.

The Opportunity

To manage and follow-up carriers and transport operations to ensure the quality service of the international traffic.

What you'll get to do

• To review and send documents for shipment fulfillment at the warehouse.
• To carry out the task of printing original documentation from the logistics operators which are necessary for traffic.
• To carry out the task of modifying documentation according to the requirements of clients, shipping companies and airlines.
• To control the attached and original documentation (Proof Of Delivery, (POD), transports).
• To maintain and track original documents.
• To document and coordinate merchandise’s physical inspections between the warehouse and the Official Organizations.
• To manage international traffic incidences of the different departments. Analyze and close them.
• To manage procedures and documentation related to the insurance’s incidences and returns.
• To perform alternatives to the daily service caused by emergencies and unexpected events.
• To plan traffic bookings with the logistics operator.
• To follow-up and search alternatives to traffic ahead on time to ensure service level

Experience: minimum 2 years in a similar job (import / export flows)

Education:Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Transport or similar

Languages:

• English: Advanced level
• French: Medium- Advanced level (desirable)
