Export / Import Manager – Supply Chain

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• International Logistics Coordination : Manage the end-to-end process of import and export shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with international laws and regulations.
• Customs Compliance : Ensure adherence to customs requirements, prepare and review documentation, and work with customs brokers to prevent delays.
• Logistics Coordination : Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics partners for cost-effective and prompt shipping of diamond tools and accessories.
• Supply Chain Coordination : Work with procurement, production, and sales teams to facilitate smooth transitions from production to shipping, meeting deadlines and inventory needs.
• Documentation Management : Prepare and verify shipping, customs, and import / export documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Product Handling : Handle diamond tools and related products carefully, considering their fragility and high-value nature.
• Vendor & Supplier Relations : Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers and customers for timely deliveries and smooth operations.
• Regulatory Updates : Keep informed of changes in trade laws, tariffs, and regulations, adjusting practices accordingly.
• Inventory Management : Oversee import / export inventory processes in coordination with warehouse teams.
• Cost Control : Monitor and optimize shipping and customs costs without compromising service quality.
• Risk Management : Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans.
• Reporting & Analysis : Generate reports on activities, costs, and challenges for management review.

Educational Qualifications :

• Master's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in export-import management or logistics.
• Knowledge of trade regulations, customs procedures, and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and supply chain software.

Job Timing :

• Monday to Thursday : 08 : 00 - 16 : 45
• Friday : 07 : 00 - 14 : 00
