Senior Software Developer m / f / d PHP

FLYERALARM is a leading e-commerce company specializing in print products and marketing within the B2B sector, and one of Europe's most successful online printing companies.

As part of our IT team, you will ensure smooth functionality within one of our departments, playing a crucial role in the overall success of the company. You are an expert in PHP with extensive experience in complex online stores. You are communicative and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You will develop professional web and backend applications, with agile software development, ensuring variety and autonomy in your work. You are passionate about clean software architecture employing domain-driven design, maintaining high code quality, and actively engaging with DevOps topics.

• Developing innovative solutions for print data and automated rule-based print data adjustments
• Automating and standardizing shipping and production processes
• Optimizing throughput times and transferring order information to production
• Creating automated price calculations and system maintenance of our growing product catalog

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Solid working knowledge of PHP
• Proficiency in applying SOLID principles and design patterns in software development
• In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search), software architectures (e.g., EDA and related tools e.g., RabbitMQ), and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS)
• Experience in the automation of software tests using tools such as PHPUnit or Cypress
• Good understanding of web security best practices and secure coding techniques
