Job summary

DTCP, a leading independent investment management firm, seeks an IT Operations & Support Expert to keep colleagues productive through reliable day-to-day IT support, device management, and well‑organised IT operations in Valencia.

You will handle onboarding and offboarding, license administration, incident response, and coordination with external providers, while ensuring IT governance, continuity planning, and proactive user support with a flexible, hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Solid MS Office skills and familiarity with hardware setup.
• Knowledge of user accounts, access permissions, and IT security.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• English proficiency; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle IT requests, troubleshoot issues and manage incidents through to resolution.
• Coordinate Onboarding and Offboarding, including device preparation and sessions.
• Manage hardware lifecycle, inventory and device replacement.
• Administer identities, access, licenses, reviews and license inventories.
• Maintain IT system registers, policies, and calendars; liaise with external providers.
• Support regulatory audits, continuity planning and recovery actions.

As an IT Operations & Support Expert, you will keep DTCP’s colleagues productive through reliable day‑to‑day IT support, effective device and access management, and well‑organised IT operations.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• IT Support & Incident Management: Handle employee requests, troubleshoot technical issues, and manage IT incidents through to resolution
• Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, retrieval, and employee support sessions
• Hardware & Device Management: Manage the lifecycle of end‑user devices, including configuration, inventory, and replacement
• Identity, Access & License Management: Manage user accounts and access permissions, including regular access reviews. Maintain software license inventories, coordinate renewals, and track tool usage and costs
• IT Administration & Suppliers: Maintain IT system registers, policies, procedures, records, and administrative calendars. Coordinate with external IT service providers and suppliers
• Compliance, Audits & Resilience: Support DORA and BaFin requirements, regulatory reporting, and IT audits, including evidence preparation and follow‑up actions. Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential Attributes:

• Practical experience in IT support, IT administration, or a comparable technical role
• Good MS Office skills
• Familiarity with computer hardware, device setup, and technical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of user account administration, access permissions, and IT security principles
• Service‑oriented mindset with good interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics clearly
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Structured, reliable, detail‑oriented, and proactive working style with a willingness to learn
• Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Preferred Attributes:

• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, device management tools, and software license management
• Knowledge of IT regulatory frameworks, particularly DORA and BaFin requirements
• Experience with IT audits, compliance documentation, business continuity, or disaster recovery processes
• Experience working with external IT service providers or suppliers
• Interest in new technologies, automation, and AI‑enabled productivity tools
• Relevant vocational training, IT certification, or a degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Professional proficiency in German, both spoken and written
