Job summary

DTCP in Valencia is seeking a Junior Fund Controller to support fund operations and reporting, closely collaborating with the Fund controlling team in Luxembourg.

You will assist in NAV calculations, monitor cash flows, and help maintain portfolio and asset-level financial data, while supporting investor reporting and audit processes. English proficiency is required, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Up to five years of relevant professional experience; applications from motivated graduates with relevant internships are welcome.
• A strong interest in digitalisation, automation, and AI-supported Finance processes.
• Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

As a Junior Fund Controller, you will support the fund operations and reporting as well as the execution and monitoring of the portfolio company information. You will work closely with the Fund controlling team in Luxembourg.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Fund Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Assist in NAV calculations and reconciliation of fund accounts
• Monitor fund cash flows, capital calls, and distributions

Portfolio Monitoring Support:

• Portfolio companies data collection and maintaining data in the portfolio monitoring tool
• Track financial performance of portfolio companies and reconcile reported figures
• Assist in maintaining fund-level and asset-level financial data

Investor Reporting:

• Support responses to investor queries and ad-hoc information requests

Audit & Compliance:

• Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements

Process Improvement & Systems:

• Maintain and improve financial templates and reporting tools
• Support data integrity across fund finance systems

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification;
• Up to five years of relevant professional experience; applications from motivated graduates with relevant internships are welcome. The scope and grade of the role will reflect the candidate’s experience.
• A strong interest in digitalisation, automation, and AI-supported Finance processes
• Good MS Office skills, particularly Excel
• A structured, reliable, detail-oriented, and analytical working style
• A proactive mindset, sound organisational skills, and willingness to learn
• Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
