Un grupo internacional de ingeniería y construcción busca un Ingeniero Experto en Siderurgia para supervisar el diseño y la optimización de procesos productivos de acero. Se requiere formación sólida y una experiencia mínima de 10 años, con un enfoque en la mejora de la eficiencia y el cumplimiento regulatorio. Se ofrece un entorno multicultural y dinámico con flexibilidad horaria y posibilidad de trabajo remoto.

Formación

• Mínimo 10 años de experiencia en siderurgia o campos relacionados.
• Experiencia en estudios conceptuales y liderazgo en ingeniería básica o FEED.
• Conocimiento avanzado en principios metalúrgicos y eficacia en la producción de acero.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar y optimizar procesos de producción de acero, incluyendo fundición y refinado.
• Gestión de proyectos para la mejora de la eficiencia productiva y reducción del impacto ambiental.
• Implementar medidas de control de calidad en la producción de acero.

We are looking for candidates for the position of Expert Engineer in Siderurgy (steel mill). The Expert Engineer in Siderurgy is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and optimization of steel production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process Design and Optimization : Develop and optimize steel production processes, including smelting, refining, and casting.
• Project Management : Lead and manage projects aimed at improving production efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
• Technical Expertise : Provide expert insights on metallurgical processes, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and material properties / heat and material balances.
• Quality Control : Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of steel production.
• Safety and Compliance : Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Training and Mentorship : Mentor junior engineers and provide training on advanced siderurgical techniques.

Qualifications and desired attributes

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in siderurgy or related fields. Proven experience in developing conceptual studies, basic engineering or FEED as a leader in this activity
• Skills : Strong understanding of metallurgical principles, process simulation software, and quality control methodologies.
• Technical Proficiency : Proficiency in using metallurgical software and tools for process simulation and analysis
• Innovative Thinking : Ability to develop new methods for improving steel production efficiency and quality.
• Leadership : Proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.
• Communication : Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and international audiences
