Intertek Group is seeking an experienced Expeditor to join a major LNG / Oil & Gas project based in Tarragona, Spain. The candidate will monitor and expedit e procurement and manufacturing progress for critical equipment, ensuring schedules, quality, and contract commitments are met.

The role requires strong English, coordination across engineering, procurement and quality teams, and willingness to travel within Europe.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as an Expeditor in industrial projects.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Energy, or major EPC projects.
• Good understanding of procurement, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ability to understand and follow up on technical and contractual documentation.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to supplier/manufacturer facilities.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-oriented approach.
• Eligibility to work in Spain and travel throughout the European Union.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor manufacturing progress and delivery schedules for critical equipment and materials.
• Follow up on purchase orders, manufacturing milestones, inspections, and shipment dates.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, subcontractors, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
• Identify potential delays and supply chain risks and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Attend supplier progress meetings and prepare regular expediting reports.
• Follow up on technical documentation, certificates, and documentation required for shipment.
• Support supplier visits and manufacturing inspections when required.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project expediting records and reporting.
