The Role: Expansion Account Executive

We’re looking for an ambitious and skilled Expansion Account Executive to focus on upselling AI solutions to our growing customer base. Your role involves deepening relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving adoption of our strategic AI products, especially in the AI space.

Responsibilities
  1. Own and grow a portfolio of existing CloudTalk customers, primarily in mid-market and growth-stage segments.
  2. Drive expansion opportunities by understanding customer needs and positioning CloudTalk AI solutions (Voice Agent, AI Dialer, Conversation Intelligence, etc.).
  3. Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to ensure seamless adoption and long-term value realization.
  4. Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close—qualifying needs, stakeholder management, demos, and negotiations.
  5. Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and report performance in Salesforce.
  6. Serve as a trusted advisor by educating customers on market trends and the value of AI-powered calling.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or B2B tech.
  • Strong track record in closing upsell and expansion deals.
  • Experience with AI, voice tech, or contact center solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent discovery and consultative selling skills—you're solving problems, not just pitching.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align solutions with business goals.
  • Self-starter with a results-driven attitude.
  • Business fluency in English; other European languages are a plus.
