Formación

• Occupational risk prevention degree or Master’s degree required.

IRB Barcelona seeks to recruit a Health and Safety Section Head , part of the People and Academic Affairs Department, to oversee its in-house Health and Safety Service and to develop a safe working environment in compliance with legal regulations, while promoting a strong culture of health and safety awareness across the institute.

Manage the in-house Health & Safety Service in collaboration with the external prevention service.

Draft, update, and monitor Health & Safety documentation.

Plan and monitor annual Health & Safety actions.

Liaise with relevant authorities, organize, and conduct audits of the Health and Safety System.

Manage and coordinate Health & Safety training.

Provide expert advice, information, and assessment on Health and Safety issues.

Assess and oversee the Health and Safety Committees.

Oversee the facility's biosafety management, ensuring adherence to established protocols, regulatory compliance, and promotion of a safe working environment.

Regarding Quality management :

Develop and maintain the Quality Management System.

Design and improve processes related to quality.

Occupational risk prevention degree or Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, preferably with a scientific university degree (biology, chemistry, etc.), Security in the workplace, Industrial Hygiene and Ergonomics, and Psychosociology.

Skills : Proficiency in MS Office tools, teamwork, proactivity, client orientation, motivated, and responsible.

Languages : High level of both spoken and written English.

Training and experience in biosafety are valued.
