A global logistics company is seeking an Executive Field Service in Spain to manage retailer accounts across País Vasco & Navarra. You will enhance asset productivity through strong relationships and operational excellence, implementing best practices in asset control. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant supply chain experience, excellent negotiation skills, and familiarity with retail logistics. The role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to optimize supply chains and improve customer satisfaction.

Formación

  • Minimum 3 years relevant supply chain experience in Retail or Logistics.
  • Knowledge of Retail and Distribution networks.
  • Experience in B2B sales and negotiation with Retail.

Descripción del empleo

As a Executive Field Service: País Vasco & Navarra, you will manage Retailer accounts within a defined territory, ensuring effective equipment controls and recovery, fostering strong relationships and operational excellence.

Collaborate with customers to implement best practices in asset control and support them in optimizing their supply chains. Maximize asset productivity by managing efficient asset flows across the assigned region, ensuring the proper allocation and usage of CHEP equipment.

Key Responsibilities May Include:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at pallet receiving locations, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with asset productivity objectives.
  • Drive improvements in collection performance by identifying route causes of failure and collaborating with internal teams to improve customer experience and the CIFOT measure.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by conducting regular visits and providing targeted training for retailer staff, ensuring effective equipment control practices are in place.
  • Ensure the successful onboarding and implementation of new customers, establishing agreements around asset recovery processes to ensure a smooth transition and operational efficiency.
  • Manage and execute audit programs within the account portfolio to ensure adherence to asset management standards and identify opportunities for improvement. Maintain accurate audit result forecast.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support business growth initiatives, develop solutions that improve asset recovery, and expand CHEP’s customer base.
  • Monitor asset control metrics, using data to proactively identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance asset recovery performance.
About the Role:
  • Responsible for managing all the Retail accounts and having an action plan for improvement and effective pallet recovery on the Top Offenders.
  • Drive budgeted growth objectives in the Retailer accounts (Strategic and Major) within the area of influence, to provide ad hoc solutions to their needs through CHEP Value Proposition.
  • Build relationships with multiple levels in the Retail organization, ensuring new strategic partnerships, through Joint Business plans, developing E2E solutions to enable long-term and sustainable growth.
  • Be part of an agile and flexible team, capable of developing different tasks in the different retail areas in support of the specific needs and priorities of the organization at each moment.
Major / Key Accountabilities:
  • Work to deliver a safe working environment for him/herself and support his/her colleagues to meet the CHEP & Brambles Zero Harm Targets.
  • Have knowledge of the Brambles Code of Conduct.
  • Negotiation with Retailers: implementation of Asset Productivity Agreement and other contracts looking for Supply Chain efficiencies for both parties.
  • Work in a matrix environment: working in an agile organization, he /she will be involved in local teams to implement granular actions at local level.
  • He / she will participate in the Shaping our Future program, supporting on local actions according to the new Retail Commercial Policy.
  • Work in coordination with other departments resources involved in the Asset Productivity plans, such as the local Asset Protection team, SRA team, KAM team, International Call Centre, field resources provided by the Central EU team, etc.
  • On both local Strategic and MAJ accounts, he/she will be responsible of applying and following up the strategy aligned with the Strategic Retail Account Manager or MAJ account responsible.
  • Execute the asset productivity plan in his area of influence coordinated with the Supply Chain team to ensure the best cost‑effective solution for asset recovery.
  • He / she will support several areas of influence in ES on ad hoc actions, projects or situations that may require the reinforcement of resource presence.
  • Digitalization is a strategic pillar in CHEP, he/she will be responsible of executing any innovative solution identified for his/her area of influence, and engage the Retailers in these kind of projects.
  • Support on initiatives focused on CHEP Strategic Pillars with Retailers. Transport Collaboration, BXB Digital, Sustainability.
  • Execute audit program in line with CHEP annual audit plan.
  • Improvement of NPS Survey results.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years relevant supply chain experience in the Retail area, Logistic Operators, Manufacturing company.
  • FMCG, knowledge of Retail and Distribution networks and Supply Chains.
  • Experience in selling and negotiating with Retail.
  • Business to business sales/service experience.
