This opportunity is not tied to an active vacancy but is part of our ongoing search for future Managing Directors to lead portfolio companies across Spain as we continue to scale.

Companies within the Everfield ecosystem operate under a decentralised model, maintaining their teams, brands, and offices, while focusing on their core competencies—building products and supporting customers. Everfield supports talent acquisition, HR, and offers access to experts in building and growing European B2B SaaS companies, consulting on financial and operational topics. As a Managing Director (MD), you will lead one of Everfield's portfolio companies in the European SaaS market, acting as a pivotal leader who drives strategic growth and operational excellence. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the strategy, financial performance, and operational success of your business unit, ensuring alignment with Everfield's growth philosophy and leadership competencies.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Aligning business strategy with Everfield's overarching mission, focusing on scalability, market penetration, and sustainable growth.
  2. Evaluating market trends to position the company ahead of industry shifts.
  3. Collaborating with Everfield’s senior leadership to identify growth opportunities, including new revenue streams, market expansions, and product innovations.
  4. Building, inspiring, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and foster a culture of innovation.
  5. Leading organizational change initiatives and cultural transformation while coaching teams toward excellence.
  6. Developing your leadership presence, with potential to advance into a Portfolio Leader role, managing multiple business units.
  7. Leading financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  8. Working closely with the finance team to manage P&L and ensure compliance with financial controls.

Commercial Execution

  1. Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to optimize pricing, customer acquisition, and retention strategies.
  2. Leveraging market expertise to drive commercial success and create competitive advantage.

Communications & Stakeholder Management

  1. Presenting company performance and strategic direction to the board and investors, ensuring clear communication.
  2. Leading initiatives to improve team performance, product delivery, and customer value, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifications include:

  • Significant experience as a CEO, Managing Director, or senior executive in a fast-growing SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven ability to scale operations, drive growth, and lead cross-functional teams through strategic and operational challenges.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models, including product development, customer success, and market positioning strategies.
  • Expertise in managing the financial health of SaaS companies, including P&L, forecasting, and operational budgets.
  • Ability to communicate financial data, growth strategies, and operational plans clearly to investors and teams.
  • A strong commercial mindset with success in crafting and executing strategic plans for market expansion and profitability.
  • Experience in leading operational transformations and optimizing processes to improve efficiency.

Autonomy : Lead your business unit with support from Everfield’s strategic and operational experts.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills by coaching Managing Directors and shaping Everfield’s growth trajectory.

It features a hybrid working arrangement, with options for remote work across key Western European countries, complemented by regular visits to company offices for in-person leadership.
