The Role

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Creative Director to join our Dentsu Lab team in EMEA based in Madrid who will push the boundaries of what’s possible, propelling brands and business into a virtual and connected future.

You will have a background in delivering world-class experiences across emerging technologies as well as helping brands disrupt, differentiate, and innovate across consumer digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and inspire award-winning creative, influencing clients and identifying new opportunities for growth.
• Be a true partner for senior clients and identify new opportunities to leverage Dentsu Lab capability to drive innovation.
• Push the boundaries of creative excellence and create unprecedented experiences that drive growth for people’s potential, our client business, and society.
• Build our reputation through global and regional awards.
• Foster radical collaboration across design disciplines and lead these communities to drive greater integration and push the work forward.
• Influence key hires that improve the products and creative output.
• Develop best practice processes, operations, methods, and tools.
• External and internal thought leadership.
• Represent Dentsu Lab at events, awards, seminars, and forums, connecting with new talent and inspiring the next generation of creatives.
• Creatively lead on global projects and pitches ensuring the very best representation of Dentsu Lab.

The Person

• A playbook of internationally recognized and award-winning apex experience work that pushes the boundaries of design, technology, and data.
• You will have a track record of delivering disruptive, innovative experiences, platforms, and design projects.
• A background in digital creative/experience/experiential agencies, understanding how to bridge the world of innovation and experience design to the world of big idea creative and platform thinking.
• Charismatic, confident, and credible with both new and existing clients.
• A leader who has experience uniting and inspiring talent across disciplines.
• Can attract and retain world-class current and new digital talent.
• Connected to popular culture, trends, brands, technologies, and how they impact business and our clients.
• Tech savvy, future-facing, curious, and innovative in approach.
• Ability to lead with empathy, support others, always listen, and learn.
