AVL Iberica in Valladolid, Spain, is seeking a Battery electrical components specialist to join our team. You will develop electrical components for Lithium-Ion batteries and oversee their development from scoping to industrialization.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Electrical/Electronic engineering, 3-4 years of relevant experience (or PhD), speaks Spanish and English, and is comfortable traveling up to 20%. French is a plus.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or mechanical engineering with electronics specialization.
• Experience in energy storage or automotive electrical/electronic components.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; French is desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Dimension the electrical component for Lithium-Ion battery systems.
• Write generic specifications and define validation plans.
• Write core competency rules and establish technical policies and standards.
• Manage innovations, ensuring performance and reliability of components.
• Lead component design reviews through development phases.
• Evaluate and select new technologies (watch, benchmark, state of the art).
