AVL Iberica is seeking a Battery electrical components specialist to join our Valladolid team. You will develop electrical components for Lithium‑Ion batteries, dimension parts, and define validation plans while aligning with automotive standards.

You should have a Master’s degree in Electric/Electronic engineering (or mechanics with electronics specialization), 3–4 years of related experience or a PhD, and be fluent in Spanish and English. Frequent travel (20%) is expected.

• Master’s degree in Electric / Electronic engineering or mechanics with electronics specialization.
• 3–4 years of relevant work experience or a PhD in a related field.
• Languages: Spanish and English are mandatory; French desirable.
• Availability to travel frequently (about 20%).
• Knowledge of development logic of electrical/electronic components in the automotive field.

Responsabilidades

• Dimension the component.
• Write generic specifications and define validation plans.
• Write core competencies rules and define technical policies and standards.
• Manage innovations of these components, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Lead components design review through development phases.
• Evaluate and select new technologies (technology watch, benchmarking).
