What are we looking for?

As a Tech Lead at ifeel, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing engineering squad, ensuring technical excellence, and driving the development of innovative solutions that align with our business goals. You will be a key player in the decision-making process, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering squad, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
  2. Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  3. Work closely with the Product team to align technical implementation with business objectives and customer needs.
  4. Ensure best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and automation, to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  5. Advocate for and implement agile methodologies, improving workflows and development processes within the squad.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and optimal performance.
  7. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation within the team.
  8. Foster knowledge sharing and technical skill development among team members.
  9. Collaborate with other Tech Leads and Engineering Managers to align strategies and ensure consistency across squads.

The Ideal candidate will have:

  1. Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Software Engineering Manager, or similar leadership role within an agile development environment.
  2. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and drive effective solutions.
  3. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for coaching and empowering engineers.
  4. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  5. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  6. Strong expertise in development with proficiency in technologies such as React, Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Swift, Kotlin, or similar.
  7. Solid understanding of software architecture, cloud computing (AWS), microservices, and DevOps best practices.
  8. Knowledge about CI / CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
