Rockfield-real-estate is rolling out its rental platform across Europe. The Financial Controller owns property-level numbers, including monthly close, P&L, rent roll, and local bookkeeping accuracy.

The role supports budgeting, forecasts, and cross-border IT/finance systems rollout, staying close to assets in Madrid. With 5+ years in financial control and experience in real estate, you will lead a small team, embed standards across markets, and ensure reliable numbers for scalable growth across

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in financial control.
• Background in real estate, student housing, or another property-level business.
• Experience with rent rolls, service charges, and property-level reconciliations.
• Experience embedding reporting, financial standards, and finance systems in new entities or markets.
• Comfortable managing a small team and owning the numbers end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own property-level numbers: monthly close, P&L, rent roll, and local bookkeeping accuracy.
• Support annual budget and periodic re-forecasts for the portfolio.
• Collaborate with asset management and fund finance on a fixed rhythm.
• Lead IT rollout for platforms: configuring systems and migrating data to local teams.
• Build scalable financial control processes for new markets and country rollouts.
