Axpo Group in Madrid is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Specialist to prepare and execute invoicing for energy trading contracts across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and possibly additional markets. You will manage incoming booking requests and coordinate data gathering, reconciliation, and invoice preparation to ensure timely processing.

The role requires a background in accounting or finance, knowledge of gas and power markets, and strong analytical and communication skills;

Formación

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Experience in energy trading, sales operations, or a similar operational environment.
• Good understanding of gas and power markets, ideally across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work with complex business processes, data management, and tight deadlines.
• Ideally, knowledge of SQL or VBA and additional European language skills.
• Confident communication skills in English (C1/C2); ideally, you also speak additional European languages.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and execute accurate and timely invoicing for energy trading contracts across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and potentially additional markets.
• Manage incoming booking and validation requests while ensuring high-quality and same-day processing where required.
• Coordinate invoicing processes including data collection, reconciliation, invoice preparation, and exchange with counterparties.
• Act as a key contact for billing questions, operational requests, and dispute resolution.
• Support process improvements, testing activities, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Oversee operational workflows across the full deal lifecycle, including reconciliations, confirmations, and payment-related processes.
