Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead to oversee the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a Remote Operations Center. Based in Barcelona, you will collaborate with site teams and engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot and optimize turbine performance across commissioning and service phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or electro-mechanical systems in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, calm under pressure, collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% when required.
• Fluent English, willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

About the role

As a ROC Technical Lead, you support the safe and efficient operation of advanced offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You play a key role across both commissioning and service phases, helping ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You work closely with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience in the wind energy sector
• Hands‑on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure, and a collaborative, proactive mindset
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.
