GE Vernova seeks a ROC Technical Lead - Remote Operations Center (Wind) to oversee the safe, efficient operation of offshore wind assets from Barcelona. You will monitor performance, diagnose issues, and support commissioning and service phases.

You will work with site teams and engineering experts to analyze data, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and compliance. Fluent English and relocation to Barcelona are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine or electromechanical systems experience in operation.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Fluent English; willing to relocate to Barcelona; EU work eligibility.

About the role

As a ROC Technical Lead, you support the safe and efficient operation of advanced offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You play a key role across both commissioning and service phases, helping ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You work closely with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.

What you bring

• Hands‑on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure, and a collaborative, proactive mindset
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.
