Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a seasoned leader to head its AI Lab in Madrid and across Europe. You will own the team, operating model, and delivery standards while shaping market positioning and driving adoption of AI capabilities inside client engagements.

The role requires executive presence, strong commercial acumen, and proven capability to recruit and grow a high-caliber AI engineering team, working with AI Managing Directors and clients across Europe.

Formación

• Executive presence to engage with AI Managing Directors, CIOs, CFOs and PE partners.
• Strong commercial fluency to build business case for the capability and steer performance.
• Proven track record in building and leading teams, delivering value at scale.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead A&M’s AI engineering capability in Europe, owning the team, operating model, delivery standards and market positioning.
• Design the capability end to end: engagement lifecycle, definition of done, quality gates, handover standards and guardrails.
• Hire founding engineers and architects; establish recruitment engine for rapid, sustained growth.
• Own team development: training, certification, platform depth, and staying current with evolving tech.
• Develop depth across major enterprise AI platforms and create reusable assets, accelerators, and reference architectures.
• Shape collaboration with partner engineering firms and scale the permanent team.
• Define engagement opportunities with AI Managing Directors across Europe and convert demand into delivery.
• Maintain a clear pipeline view, balance capacity to demand, drive growth and performance.
