Sandoz is seeking a Pipeline Director Europe to lead regional strategy, prioritization, and execution of the European pipeline across therapeutic areas. You will collaborate with Business Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and country teams to maximize value and support sustainable growth.

The role emphasizes governance, market intelligence, and multi-market experience, with a focus on strategic decisions, collaboration, and launch readiness across Europe.

Qualifications

• University degree in a life sciences, pharmacy, business, economics, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in portfolio management, pipeline management, business development, launch excellence, commercial strategy, or related areas.
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, forecasting, and business-case evaluation skills.
• Experience working across multiple European markets and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving and influencing skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the European pipeline strategy for the assigned therapeutic areas, aligned with global and regional priorities.
• Drive opportunity identification and execution, including TA, product plans and country scope.
• Lead pipeline prioritization and evaluation of business cases and scenarios for projects.
• Support strategic product selection and regional allocation decisions through governance forums and portfolio reviews.
• Maintain a consolidated overview of pipeline projects, ensuring information is accurate and transparent to stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a five-year launch outlook for the assigned TAs, including pipeline value.
• Develop and maintain market intelligence on new products, registrations, patent expiries, and medical insights.
• Provide strategic insights based on competitive intelligence, market dynamics, and footprint.
• Collaborate with global, regional, and local stakeholders to enable timely strategic decisions and pipeline readiness.
