Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking a Regional HSE Manager Europe to lead Health, Safety, Process Safety and Environment across multiple European manufacturing sites. Based in one of the regional hubs (Spain, Italy, Portugal) with travel across Europe, you will partner with business leaders, coach local HSE teams and drive continuous improvement.

You will ensure compliance with European regulations and ISO standards, shape safety culture, and integrate HSE into operational and strategic decisions while

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of HSE experience within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• 5+ years in a senior HSE leadership role with regional responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of European HSE regulations and management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop HSE teams across Europe.
• Drive a strong safety and environmental culture throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement regional HSE strategies aligned with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with European HSE regulations and company standards.
• Support sites with audits, investigations, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with senior leaders to integrate HSE into operational and strategic decisions.
• Play a key role in crisis response and emergency management across the region.
