Airbus Defence and Space in Sevilla is seeking a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) to lead end-to-end supply chain operations and quality management within the Composite and Metallic Detail Parts team of the Procurement Organization.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers across programs such as A400M, MRTT, and Eurodrone, driving APQP deployment, risk management, and continuous improvement in collaboration with multi-functional teams.

Formación

• Degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or related discipline.
• Negotiation skills in English and Spanish required.
• At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or in Supply Chain.
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mindset with ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including communication and multi-functional teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Represents Airbus Defence and Space in front of suppliers.
• Ensures industrial maturity and quality/operational performance of suppliers.
• Represents procurement in multi-functional teams and in audits.
• Leads deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements with suppliers.
• Manages Call For Tender processes from operational and quality perspectives.
• Supports New Product Introduction, Transfer of Work, and Industrial changes.
• Deploys APQP with suppliers.
• Manages risk & opportunities.
• Leads root cause analyses and corrective/preventive actions.
• Monitors supplier performance and conducts surveillance.
• Deploys procurement tools at supplier sites.

A position as a Supply Chain and Quality Manager (SCQM) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Tablada (Sevilla)

The successful applicant will join the Supply Chain and Quality department in the Composite and Metallic Detail Parts team as part of the Procurement Organization

Mission:

The SCQM Leads the End-to-End Supply Chain Operations and Quality Management and acts as Supply Chain Industrial, Operations and Quality leader for all the suppliers under the applicable scope

• The mission is applicable to all Programs: A400M, MRTT, L&M, EFA, Aerostructures and any new developments such as Eurodrone.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Represents Airbus Defence and Space in front of Suppliers

• Ensures the Industrial Maturity and Quality / Operational performance of Suppliers.

• Represents procurement organization in the associated Multi-Functional Team and in front of Authorities during Audits and Assessments.

• Leads the deployment of Airbus DS Quality and Supply Chain requirements in suppliers and for the main ADS programs.

• The SCQM is in charge and/or participates in:

• Call For Tender process from the Operational and Quality points of view.

• New Products Introduction, Transfer of Work, Industrial Changes, Modifications, Assessments

• APQP deployment in suppliers

• Risk & Opportunities Management

• Management of Quality Escapes and all type of non-conformities, leading all the associated activities with internal and external stakeholders

• Leading the root case analysis and associated actions plans from both a corrective and preventative point of view

• Qualifications and Certifications surveillance

• First Article Inspection

• Supplier Performance & Surveillance

• Deployment of Procurement Tools in the supplier

SKILLS:

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline.
• Negotiation level communication skills in English and Spanish is required.
• At least3 years of experience in Supply Chain Quality or/and in Supply Chain
• Rigorous, autonomous, customer-oriented mind-set and ability to prioritise workload.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, multi-functional team-working, flexibility, proactive behavior.
