Airbus Operations SL in Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) seeks a Quality Conformance Manager to supervise industrial and development projects, oversee quality compliance, and drive process improvements for sustainability. An opportunity for a Quality Conformance Manager has arisen within Airbus Operations, Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz).
We are seeking a Quality Conformance Manager to oversee industrial and development projects while driving process improvements for long-term business sustainability. You will manage quality compliance, supervise manufacturing setups, oversee subcontracted activities, and perform process capability analyses.
Inspection Documentation & Support: Prepare and manage inspection control plans (CP) and inspection instrictions (Q-SOI), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and deliver on-site inspection support.
Process Capability & Supervision: Perform statistical process evaluations (Cp/CpK) and supervise active shop-floor operations to guarantee compliance.
Subcontracting Quality Control: Define work specs, approve third-party quality plans, and manage Work Authorizations (WA) and QA gates for outsourced scope.
Troubleshooting & Commissioning: Resolve technical and setup issues during line commissioning using structured problem-solving (PPS).
Sustainable Improvement Projects: Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, efficiency, and operational sustainability.
Experience in Quality Assurance/Conformance within an industrial or manufacturing environment; hands-on activity experience is highly valued.
Proven knowledge of quality digitization tools, data-driven systems, and smart manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated experience in supplier management, work specifications, and outsourced quality control.
Strong background in statistical process control (SPC) and technical root-cause analysis.
Highly proactive, strongly organized, and a proven team player with excellent collaborative skills.
Professional fluency in English.
