Bacardi Espana, S.A. in Barcelona seeks a Raw Materials buyer to support EU-led brands and drive category management for Botanicals & Ingredients. You will work closely with procurement, finance and legal to ensure timely savings, master data integrity and supplier onboarding.

The role blends day-to-day procurement with strategy development, offering growth into sourcing or category management while leveraging SAP, Excel and BI tools to deliver value for iconic spirits brands across Europe.

Formación

  • 1-2 years+ experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally with experience in F&F, F&B or FMCG company
  • Fluency in English and Italian; French and/or Spanish is highly beneficial
  • Experience delivering procurement objectives (tenders, projects, strategies)

Responsabilidades

  • Support the Innovation projects of all EU led brands for RawMat and liquid scope
  • Assist Raw Materials Category Managers with day-to-day activities including vendor onboarding, SAP system management – PO accuracy, price maintenance, GR accuracy
  • Lead the Category Management of Botanicals & Ingredients categories
  • Data & Reporting: ensuring accurate pricing, data maintenance and issue resolution in SAP and other systems; contribute to dashboards and data analysis using Excel, SAP and BI tools

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

As a Raw Materials buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting the European Raw Materials Procurement team in driving operational excellence and maintaining procurement process with rigor and discipline. Based in our Barcelona Hub, you will support the Innovation projects of all EU led brands, assist category manager on system management and lead the category management of Botanicals&Ingredients. You’ll evolve between the day-to-day procurement activities and shape the strategies that support the most iconic spirits brands in the world. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-professional, with strong analytical skills, system agility, action-oriented, and a desire to grow into a sourcing or category management role over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE Key responsibilities

Support the Innovation projects of all EU led brands for RawMat and liquid scope

Assist Raw Materials Category Managers with day-to-day activities including but not limited to vendor onboarding, SAP system management – purchase order accuracy, price maintenance, good receipt accuracy…

Lead the Category Management of Botanicals & Ingredients categories

Data & Reporting Ensuring accurate pricing, data maintenance and issue resolution in SAP and other systems. Contribute to dashboards and data analysis using Excel, SAP and BI tools Is key user of key tools (SAP, PowerBI, Taulia, CoMas, ScanMarket…) with a process mindset Category Management Drive the category strategy definition, alignment and implementation with key internal stakeholders Maintain category intelligence by ongoing relationship with internal stakeholders and external market Lead regional tenders’ preparations, analysis and recommendation processes Accountable for STD definition, budgeting and PPV accuracy Build Commodity coverage alignment leveraging CRC processes Define, align and drive a sustainability roadmap coherent with Bacardi Limited targets and local regulations Collaborate closely with Legal to ensure compliance with Bacardi requirements and finalize supplier contracts Key stakeholders Serve as the go-to point of contact for all EU led innovation projects which involves liquid creation/modification Collaborate closely with EU Raw Material Category Managers, broader Procurement Team and Finance Team Collaborate closely with BES for master data integrity, pricing updates, OA management & issue resolutions Maintain privileged relationships with French, UK, Italian and Swiss sites to build and implement categories strategy and procurement plans Be the SPOC for the Meyrin production team

SKILLS

Education: Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics. Specialization in Purchasing or a CIPS qualification is preferred. Experience: 1-2 years+ experience in procurement or supply chain roles, ideally with experience in F&F, F&B or FMCG company Proven track record in delivering Procurement objectives (tenders, projects, strategies) Experience supporting innovation, sustainability initiatives. Languages: Fluency in English and Italian required. Proficiency in French and/or Spanish is highly beneficial. Functional Skills: Good understanding of procurement Meticulous, well-organized, with high attention to detail Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data and systems Agile and proactive – a self-starter ready to support evolving priorities Excellent collaboration skills to easily navigate through a matrixed organization Tools & Systems: Experience of use of SAP, Excel, BI is a strong plus
