Job summary

Gradiant in Vigo, Spain, seeks a seasoned EU Grants writer to help grow our participation in European research and innovation programs. You will plan, draft and coordinate proposals for Horizon Europe and other EU calls in collaboration with our technical areas.

Your work includes adapting proposals to call guidelines, developing new ideas for EU-sponsored R&D projects, and staying updated on EC policies. The role requires strong English skills and a proactive, deadline-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Higher university degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or Physics.
• 3+ years of experience drafting EU projects in technology.
• Knowledge of EC policies and funding for research and innovation.
• Excellent level of spoken and written English.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, synthesize information and provide analysis.
• Master’s degree in European grant management for R&D&I is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and draft proposals with Gradiant's technical areas.
• Adapt proposals to call requirements and guidelines.
• Participate in generating, developing and selecting ideas for EU R&D projects.
• Stay updated on EU research programs and EC regulations.
• Identify opportunities within EU institutions and programs (Horizon Europe, DIGITAL Europe, Interreg, Ju-Chips).
• Promote Gradiant's participation in European-scale initiatives and alliances.
