Meta in Madrid seeks a Privacy and Data Policy Manager to lead external engagement with EU regulators and policymakers, shaping strategy on GDPR, AI Act, and Data Act, and coordinating with legal, policy, product and engineering teams across the EU.

Fluency in English and French is required, with a track record in complex, cross-functional programmes and stakeholder management. Reporting to the Director of Data and Privacy Policy, EMEA, this role sits within the European policy team.

Formación

• 6+ years of experience in privacy, data or technology policy with regulatory affairs
• Fluency in English and French for EU regulatory engagement
• Knowledge of GDPR, AI Act, DSA/ DMA, Data Act
• Network in EU data and privacy community in Spain/France/Italy
• Proven experience leading cross-functional programmes
• Strong presentation, writing, and stakeholder-management skills

Responsabilidades

• Policy leadership and external engagement
• Identify and monitor data policy issues affecting Meta in the EU
• Advise on EU privacy, data governance and AI regulation implications for Meta
• Develop proactive engagement strategies and initiatives
• Engage regulators, policymakers, academia, civil society and industry bodies in the EU
• Represent Meta at meetings and conferences
• Draft submissions and engagement plans for local policy audiences
• Programme and process management for privacy and AI external engagement initiatives
• Coordinate knowledge management and internal communications on privacy and AI policy
