We are seeking a Buyer Demand Manager to work across various business divisions within our European operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Remarketing Automotive, be digitally savvy, and passionate about ensuring accuracy and efficiency from the start.

Role Accountabilities :

  • Guide the demand management process with involved markets to optimize auction sales performance by aligning buyer demand with available supply.
  • Establish clear criteria for evaluating and prioritizing auction requests, ensuring strategic alignment with sales objectives.
  • Maintain visibility into market demand, inventory levels, and auction capacity to maximize transaction efficiency and buyer satisfaction.
  • Implement governance structures that enhance transparency in auction performance, aligning demand-side needs with supply-side capabilities.
  • Monitor auction program performance, ensuring optimal execution, budget adherence, and strategic alignment with revenue targets.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms for buyer trends, supply availability, and auction results to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Oversee key auction technology initiatives that enhance the buyer experience and improve overall transaction success rates.
  • Support local teams in managing supply-side integrations, ensuring consistency with governance standards and alignment with demand-side requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between supply teams, buyers, IT, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of auction activities with sales goals.
  • Enhance engagement with key stakeholders to improve market visibility, demand-supply matching, and auction outcomes.
  • Strategic Thinking : Analyze market trends, buyer behavior, and auction dynamics to develop demand-driven strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Use analytical skills to interpret buyer trends, forecast demand, and optimize auction performance.
  • Stakeholder Management : Communicate effectively and collaborate with buyers, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Process Optimization : Develop structured demand management processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
  • Project & Program Management : Oversee large-scale initiatives, ensuring timely execution and strategic alignment.
  • Technology Acumen : Understand auction platforms, pricing algorithms, and buyer engagement tools to foster innovation and efficiency.
  • Negotiation & Influencing Skills : Align supply with buyer demand through negotiation and relationship management.
  • Governance & Compliance : Maintain best practices in auction governance, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Experience Required :

  • Industry Knowledge : Prior experience in auction-based sales, e-commerce, or supply chain management is highly preferred.
  • Relevant Experience : Experience in demand management, sales operations, or strategic planning within a commercial environment.
  • Proven Track Record : Success in driving demand strategies, increasing buyer engagement, and optimizing sales performance.
  • Cross-Functional Experience : Experience working with IT, sales, and supply chain teams to align strategies and technology solutions.
  • International Experience : Exposure to European markets and understanding regional buyer behavior is a plus.
